ISKCON was founded by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in 1966 — and the Birmingham temple has been a sacred home for the Hare Krishna community since 1976.
Chant, dance and feast — the simple, joyful practices we share every day in Birmingham.
Hari-nama Sankirtana — chanting of the Maha-Mantra — purifies the heart and awakens love for the Divine.
See scheduleEvery Sunday 11am–2pm — joyful kirtan, philosophy class, and a full vegetarian prasadam lunch for all.
All welcomeMangala (4:30am), Raj-Bhoga (midday) and Sandhya (7pm). Every arati is open — every soul welcome.
Daily timesThe temple's altar is alive with worship every day. Each photograph captures a different moment of grace.
The grand annual Chariot Festival of Lord Jagannath, Balarama and Subhadra returns to the streets of Birmingham — Sunday 5 July 2026. Procession from 12 noon. Stage show 2pm–5pm at Centenary Square. Kirtan, mantra meditation, market stalls and a free vegetarian feast.
Every Sunday, the temple serves a full vegetarian feast — first offered to Sri Sri Radha-Krishna and then distributed freely as prasadam. Rice, dhal, sabji, halava, sweets, tea — exactly as Srila Prabhupada taught.
You don't need to bring anything except your appetite. Bring friends, bring family — everyone leaves a little fuller, in body and soul.
Your seva — however modest — supports daily worship, the festival, and the free prasadam distributed to everyone who walks through our doors.
Whether you're a first-time visitor, lifelong devotee or quietly curious — the temple is your home.
